Synopsis:
The legendary archer Robin of Locksley (Kevin Costner) escapes from prison in Jerusalem with the help of a fellow Moorish prisoner, Azeem (Morgan Freeman). Upon returning to England, Robin of Locksley discovers his father’s remains and the ruins of his family estate. Together, Robin of Locksley and Azeem lead Sherwood Forest outlaws against the cruel Sheriff of Nottingham (Alan Rickman) who covets strong-willed Maid Marian (Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio).
